NEW What is the Battle Cancer Program Level 1 Certification?
Sometimes we collaborate with other organisations too to create special, unique programmes. The Battle Cancer Program Level 1 Certification is a special collaboration with Battle Cancer, and with Nike. It’s a Certification that teaches trainers and coaches how to work with an individual who has experienced Cancer/Cancer treatment, and who is in the late-stage phase of their rehabilitation. It also explains how to safely and effectively deliver the 12-week Battle Cancer Program to groups of individuals in your facility recovering from Cancer.
Because this a collaboration, we share all sales of the Battle Cancer Program Level 1 Certification with the Battle Cancer Program charity.
Here’s everything you need to know about The Battle Cancer Program Level 1 Certification.

That is if we believe that our network would find the content valuable, and we can help our network by improving access to this kind of content.
Sometimes we contribute to it first before making it available to purchase.

CAWS is an accredited CIMSPA Training Provider. A CIMSPA training provider has their policies, education and training reviewed against professional standards in the sport, fitness, leisure, and physical activity sector. With a growing number of employers committing to only using CIMSPA recognised training, this provides a ‘stamp of approval’ for CAWS, our courses, and assurance for our members.

CAWS is proud to name ukactive, Europe Active, EMD UK, Club Industry, IFBA and Independent Gyms as strategic partners.
You can learn more about the founders and other leadership roles they play across the sports and fitness sectors here.
Where can I watch the content?
Watch anywhere in the world, any time. 95% of the content in CAWS Stage One Programmes is video. Ranging from just minutes to an hour in length, we’ve designed the material to watch on the go, in the bath, sometimes at the desk and oftentimes in the gym. Provided you have internet access you can watch the programmes anytime on any device. All accompanying learning materials are downloadable for you to keep offline.
Remember, even when you graduate from any CAWS programme, as a CAWS Member the content is there for you to refer back to as you need anytime. We encourage coaches to take notes alongside their learning if they feel that it will support their understanding and success post graduation.
Are the programmes available to start any day and available to work through at your own pace?
Absolutely! There is no set start date or cohort. Coaches in our community might be on Day 1 or Day 100 as a graduate coach. You can start right now or as soon as you like, and continue to access all CAWS programmes 24/7 so long as you’re online.
How long are the programmes?
What is the total learning time for each programme?
Approximate Total Certification Times;
Rebuild™, 20 hours self-directed study time, optional contact time each month for all CAWS Members
Rebound™, 12 hours self-directed study time, optional contact time each month for all CAWS Members
Fortitude™, 15 hours self-directed study time, optional contact time each month for all CAWS Members
Rebuild™ Group Training, 2 hours self-directed study time, optional contact
Women’s Health Workshop Series™, 2.5 hours self-directed study time
All of the videos carry a time stamp to help you to to decide to press play or schedule the next episode for another time. We recommend absorbing the content in digestible bite-sized sittings, allowing you to go away and put the content in to practice. This will enhance your contextual understanding of the key concepts and principles, set you up best for your assessment and in dealing with client scenarios post graduation.
Our best advice is not to focus too hard on the assessment, but on the outcome of the programme instead, why you embarked on the programme, and how you will utilise what you learn with your clients going forward.
Can I use what I learn with clients that are working out at home, or may not have access to a gym?
All CAWS programmes teach strategies and principles that you will become confident at adapting to any given client scenario — from live, to virtual, 121 to group, in-club, outdoors or at home. You choose.
CAWS Graduates: What happens when I finish a/all of the CAWS Stage One Programmes?
Most Coaches begin their Membership by starting the Rebuild™ programme. It is common for Coaches to progress onto Rebound™ once they have completed Rebuild™ before starting Fortitude™. The route you choose is entirely up to you and may depend on your professional development priorities, current business needs or what your clients maybe presenting at that time.
When you graduate from any programme or assessment you successfully complete, you will be listed on the CAWS Registry of Graduates. CAWS will keep a record of all Rebuild™, Rebound™ and Fortitude™ graduate names and contact details. If an individual or organisation in your local area is seeking a CAWS Graduate with your skill set for support or service, we will alert you. It is our goal to grow the network of support for individuals across the world seeking your specialist skill set. CAWS will assume that all graduates are happy to appear on the CAWS Registry of Graduates unless you advise [email protected].
As a graduate you will be able to use the following;
CAWS Rebuild™ Certified Coach
CAWS Rebound™ Certified Coach
CAWS Fortitude™ Certified Coach
You may choose to keep your membership active once you have completed the core programmes as a useful resource to refer back to, and because all programmes are added to monthly with new and relevant updates, to inform and develop your practice. To maintain access to all content and retain all of your CAWS Member benefits and discounts, you should keep your membership live.
However, if you’re confident that you no longer need the content to refer back to, or you’d just like to take a break from our community you can cancel any time. If you would like to leave us for a while simply email [email protected] who will pause or deactivate (cancel) your membership.
You’re required to provide 30 days notice to cancel your membership. At the end of the 30 day period, we'll deactivate your membership and stop billing you. Once your account has been deactivated you will lose access to all current and future CAWS content but you will retain any certificates and CAWS Graduate status, which you will have earned.

Do you maintain a website with a searchable database of registered CAWS Coaches for the public to make contact?
Nope — what we do is operate a referral system to make sure that people get connected! Everything we do is focused on elevating the role of the Club and Coach by providing new ways for facilities and professionals to appeal to and serve key audiences.
